Pastor Duane trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1977 while attending Temple Baptist Church in Springfield, Mo. He has a business degree from from Missouri State University. Duane married his wife Amy in 1988 and they served the Lord together at High Street Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. The Lord directed him in 1998 to Kansas City where he was trained at Kansas City Baptist Temple and graduated from the Shepherd School of Ministry.
In 2001, He and his wife and their four sons moved to Ocala, Florida to serve on the pastoral team as youth pastor at NTBC. After the sudden home going of the senior pastor, Duane became the senior pastor of NTBC in December of 2001. After 13 years in the business world, Duane has a passion to equip common working people with the Word of God so they might minister the Word to the World.
